Grey Owl Camp Fly-In is situated on a remote, scenic lake, in the Canadian Shield Wilderness.
This beautiful northern lake has an abundant supply of both Lake Trout and Northern Pike.
Take a look at the map to see where we are located.
| Grey Owl Camp is located on an island in the center of One-Man Lake. The camp is in a sheltered bay between several islands and even in the worst weather fishing is accessible. Lake Trout and Northern Pike have been caught in the bay area and surrounding channels. Only one group of up to 10 people, is allowed in the camp at one time. There are no other camps or cabins on any of our lakes. The lakes are easily fished with lots of bays, in-lets, islands and points. Detailed maps of the lake are supplied and a guide can be made available if desired.

![]() | Lake Trout and Northern Pike are in good supply in One-Man Lake. Asiski Lake also has a good supply of Northern Pike and Lake Trout and can be reached via a short portage where a 14 foot aluminum, boat and motor are located for day trips. These crystal clear, icy cold waters offer unbelievable lake trout and northern pike. We do promote Catch and Release Fishing, with all trophy size fish being released. Each year numerous trophy size Northern Pike in the 35" to 48" range have been caught and released (Check out these beauties.) Several Lake Trout in the 30" to 38" range have also been caught and released. (This could be you in this picture) |
| With photographs and measurements a Perma-Trophy Mount can be made of your catch if desired. Fishing season begins each year in late May and runs through till mid October. Fishing is excellent all year round with the Lake Trout in shallow water during May / June and September / October. The traditional methods of trolling and casting with spoons, spinners and plugs for trophy trout and pike is always effective and as well jigging has resulted in catches of truly monstrous sizes. For fishing tackle, casting or trolling rigs up to 20 lbs (9 kg) test are good for Lake Trout and Northern Pike. |
| The end of a perfect day! As the sun slowly sets our fishermen can enjoy a evening of relaxation. A great day of fishing, a fresh brewed cup of coffee or your favorite beverage, the sound of the loons and the companionship of good friends all make an evening at Grey Owl Camp a memorable event. | ![]() |
